Ah CRAP!!

I've only got 30 more days in my mid 20's!! And, of course, HAPPY 50TH MADDY!! When I think of Maddy I think of mums and gardening, four-wheelers and trailers, love and angels. My kids are lucky to have such a fun Nana!! We love you!!

The GRAND TOUR!!

Here is our apt in all it's glory!!



Yes, I know we have a really long room that I named as 4 different rooms, and the fridge is in the hallway, and the "hall of maps" is like a mile long, and Trae has a stinky diaper, but let's look at the high points...like just MY little family lives down here!! I can say that and feel good about myself and my parents, knowing that they feel the same way! I only have to cook for 2 adults and 3 (sorta) kids. It's like I've cut my cooking down to 1/4 of what I used to do! We have leftovers at time, too! I just absolutely love being in our new little place. I feel so grown up! :) However, I'm having some growing pains. They've asked me to teach in Relief Society this Sunday!! OUCH! too fast too fast!! Wasn't ready for that one! At least it's only a one time thing!!

Never Loses SUCTION!!

Ahhhh....this new apartment is all about firsts! The first time I've ever used my fridge as my main fridge (we've had the thing since before we got married!)...first time Walter and I have ever shared a closet successfully...first time I've allowed an office to be in our bedroom...and...our FIRST REAL VACUUM!!



Walter has been promising me a Dyson for some time now. However, I felt they were too expensive, so I never reminded him. Well, the time came that we needed a vacuum, and we had a lot of credit card points...so....FREE DYSON!! woo hoo! Oh, but it gets better...they said it would be here in 4-6 WEEKS and it came in 4-6 DAYS!!! Ahhh...I must be livin right!! :)

Inappropriate!! I KNOW!!

I realize this makes me a horrible mother! I'm pretty sure Winni will hate me for this someday, but she is just so cute! We have been hearing her singing this song FOR DAYS!! I can't really complain, though, at least she picked up on a cute song we all enjoy. I tried to protect her innocence and her privacy...



Well, at least I reminded her about her privacy at the end! :) She is so cute, even when she sings on the pot! I'm sure she got the idea from her dad. Oh, and did you catch her reason for being on the pot?? Cause she has one and everybody needs one! Again, I know, INAPPROPRIATE, but that's how I roll!!

I'm a sucker!!

Is it me and my wacked out birth control, or am I not the only one crying during McDonald's commercials these days!! I guess I am a sucker! I'm ready to go right out and get me a Big Mac! Go ahead and Super Size ME!

OK, so I can't find the commercial. Maybe it was a dream! But it was a commercial for McDonalds with a little girl and her dad. They are waiting at the train station, eating chicken nuggets. Her dad tells her to finish her nuggets, and she tells him she can't because they are special nuggets. She asks him how much longer, and then she sees her mom! She runs up to her military mom, who has just returned from a deployment of some sort. She saved a chicken nugget for her mom! Oh, I'm a boob, I know!!

Anyway, I now have internet on my computer, so I'm back!! So, I have no excuses anymore, except that I can't find any batteries for my camera. But we will get there! We are all moved in and ready to blog. And, to those who blog once every 2 weeks but get on me for not, I was just giving you a taste of your own medicine! You can thank me for this lesson any way you see fit, as long as it's edible!! :) Again, SUPER SIZE ME!!

He's HOME!!

So, my baby came home yesterday!! It's so good to have him home. It has been quite the week. I had major plans of having our new place all ready for us, even though he told me not to. I'm kinda getting used to not listening to him. Apparently, too good at it! I was holding Grady while shampooing the carpets over there and as I bent over to change the plug I fell something go wrong with my back. Turns out I have a slipped disc and a sprained muscle in my back. PERFECT!! So, I've been in bed for the last 2 days. Now that Walter is home he can move us into our new place by day, and be my caretaker by night! He has to get up with the kids, bring Grady to me to feed him, take him back, get me my drugs, get me ice, get me water....you get the point. Poor little man, I hope he is still happy to be home!! We sure missed him!

Oh, and the flowers stopped coming, after 3 days. Yesterday I got a gift box with an assortment of nuts and some bottled Root Beer. He says there is more on the way...OK YOU LOVE ME! I GET IT!! :) I just hope he knows how much we love him. 

Ahhh.....

I just love a good book!! Couldn't put it down, neglected my kids, my husband will probably beat me, but it was all worth it!!

Speaking of husband....he sent me flowers AGAIN!! Oh yes, and my countdown is wrong. He called and he will be home Wednesday!! 2 more days, BABY!!

This and that!

He does love me!! Today I got flowers from my hubby! He's so cute!!

And, here is our new apartment! woo hoo!! That's MY kitchen! I know it's a little small, but it is mine! It going to be like Christmas the day I get all my stuff out of storage! I don't even remember what my dishes look like!?!? I can't wait!



This is the living room, from the kitchen/front door. Did I mention how excited I am to put MY stuff up! I mean, I've appreciated my parents stuff, but I get to put up my own stuff! So very excited! And, you are all invited over, at some point....not all at once. I don't think my living room could handle that!! And don't be shy, I love chocolate. Go ahead and bring something chocolate with you! :)


Oh yes, and Breaking Dawn is out!! Walter has asked me to wait until he comes home to read it, and I am trying, but I don't think I can. I'm on page 202 with no sign of stopping. Well, maybe for the night. And, of course, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOGGER!!
