Today was quite the success for Winni!
They went out with 4 worms...
And came back with this loot!
She caught 5, but 2 were too small so they got to go swim some more!
Meanwhile, we were on the bank 'practicing'
Trae practiced casting
Grady practiced 'working the camera'
Then Trae went out for his one on one fishing lesson...
And came back with...
NOTHING!
They caught at least 1 fish, but Trae didn't want to keep it, so they threw it back. Gramps says it was big enough to put Winni's fish to shame! But then, you know how fish tales go!
But at least Trae had fun out there fishing, and we had fun practicing being 'crazy!' Yes, it takes practice to live like this!

Those are some pretty dish. Did you fry 'em up and eat 'em like the other fried food you featured in your earlier post?
ummmm....no! they were still soaking in salt water when we left to help with the 'fishy' taste. my kids were a little shocked at the whole clean and gut stage of fishing.
