Say goodbye to hairy!! We got Trae's picture taken today as a last hoorah to his long hair, its coming off BABY!! Well, if I dare go through with it when I get to the barber!

Last night we enjoyed Korean BBQ at the dining room table. It was really good, even after the grease got down to the flame and we had fire!!! It was just small, so i wasn't too concerned, until John, our student from Taiwan, decided he would be the hero and put it out....with WATER!! I started yelling and screaming at him, ok not really, but i was pretty concerned. We had a pretty good flame, I was ready to grab the kids and call 911! But all of a sudden in a moment of pure inspiration I grabbed a lid from the stove and smothered that fire! I owe it all to those videos they showed us in elementary about fire. I think Winni got a little scared from my reaction, she started crying and wanted to "hold me." Whew! Dodged our first catastrophe! Jae says next week when we BBQ at the table again....what? you think i'm doing that again??!, we are going to have a drip pan. Great ideas always come after a big boom! Mom and Dad, I promise there will be a house here when you get home, but at this rate, you might get that addition out the back that you have always wanted! :) love you both!

Tonight at dinner, Winni opted to stand in the corner and pick her nose instead of eating salmon and rice. Not the option i would have chosen, but to each her own. I looked over and asked her where her booger went, with a grin on her face she said "all gone!" Then she proceeded to pick her nose again and eat it! I hear it helps kids immune systems, or something! I think I'd rather she eat too many vitamin C!

My 6 year old niece, Cora, informed her parents today that she is "going to lay off the nose picking for a while!" hahahaha I can't wait until I hear those sweet words!

We got our new computer, yeah!!! I have definite plans of being more organized! I can't wait! :) Trae is crawling so much, and pulling himself up to couches and stuff. Right now he is standing up to a stool in the kitchen, he is growing up so fast! I'm sure he'll walk soon. Walter and I celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary this last Tuesday, March 20. We went to The Roof, a restaurant downtown, overlooking the Salt Lake Temple, where we were married. It was so nice to be there. My husband is so wonderful! I'm so lucky to have him.

Church was lovely today! Walter had to work so it was me and 2 little ones! they know when they outnumber me! i guess i looked exhausted after church because a number of people came up to me afterward and said, "I don't know how you do it!" Well, let me tell you how. First, Winni goes to nursery for 2 hours, so i get 2 hours of somewhat relaxation. Then during sacrament meeting, once Trae gets hungry, Winni and I take him to the mother's lounge so I can feed him. While I'm doing that Winni finds treasures all over the floor, including under the chairs. Today's specialty was someone's leftover nerds from last week that they spilled all over the floor. What a treat! Only one regret today, however, I wish Trae would have gotten hungry before Winni announced to the whole congregation, "I need to go potty!" I guess that would have been ok if she hadn't gone out into the aisle, pulled up her dress and started taking her diaper off! I'm learning all about the quick, grab your child, look straight at the door, and go!!

Georgia Fans by birth! Can you tell there is a Grandpa in Georgia?? Good thing my kids look adorable in anything! OK, maybe I'm partial, but I'm proud of it!

Oh! Isn't it so cute when your kids start disciplining you? As we were driving home from Hill Air Force Base, Winni kept asking for chocolate milk. We kept telling her that she could have some when we get home. She kept whining and complaining and asking for chocolate milk. Walter had just had dental surgery, so all the crying was really getting to him. Finally he said, "No chocolate milk!" Our little smarty pants, in her sweet and innocent little voice said "Daddy, be nice to me!" It was so heart breaking we couldn't stop laughing! :)

My daughter is brilliant! We went to the Smith's after Jaxynn's baptism last saturday, it was lots of fun. I had left the room to change my clothes and when I came back I heard people saying, "Oh NO, who is watching Winni?" I walked into the kitchen and found Winni and her cousin, AJ, sitting up to the buffet table. Winni had a piece of cake in one hand and a cup in the other. I decided to sit back and watch what she had planned. She put the cake in the cup and studied it for a minute. Then she looked up and smiled and said "mmmmm....cupcake!" it was hilarious! she gets her smarts from me, i'm sure!! hahahaha

2 AM Mommy, i want a sandwich! sandwich mommy!?

5 AM Mommy, want chicken. Mommy come on, want chicken!

4 PM Mommy, want cereal. PLEASE!! come on, cereal, kitchen.
