Poor Winni hasn't quite figured out how to be sneaky, which is great! When she steals Trae's bottle from him or has something she isn't supposed to have, she runs right past me and says "Mommy no see me!" as she runs under a table to enjoy her forbidden treasure. Yesterday she was sitting next to me, turned her back to me and said, "Mommy no see me" while she drank Trae's bottle! Right there! Right in front of me!! I hope she is still this much fun when she becomes a teenager!

I try so hard to be a good mom and host mom, but days like today just throw me off!! I was to pick up 3 new students and go to 3 wedding receptions. My students were coming at 3:30 for the 2 brazilians and 6:30 for Joe from Taiwan. I went to pick up the brazilians and only one was there, so I took her home and then got a call that the other brazilian was there now, so I drove back downtown and got her. On the way home we picked up 3 gift cards for the weddings. I stopped at the first wedding on the east side of salt lake, then stopped home to drop the girls off and I got to the second wedding, right by my house, as the bride and groom were leaving. I visited for a little, then left for the 3rd wedding, which was downtown....again!!! I was tol that my student from Taiwan had missed his flight and would call me when he got in, so I went to the 3rd wedding to find that I was a day late!! I hate that! Who has their reception the night before the wedding?!? Well, I'm downtown, so I hope my last student calls. He did! He won't get in until tomorrow night! ugh!! I'm ready for bed!!!

Woo Hoo!! Another new niece! Walter's little brother Josh is a dad! Abbiegail Dawn Denise Gunter was born today in Georgia! I'm not sure on the spelling, but i hear she is just beautiful. And, of course, it's the Gunter way to be born with lots of hair. She weighed 7# 14oz and her dad says she's got some lungs!! Congratulations Josh and Amanda! May the high energy of the Gunter's be with you, you'll need it!! :) Pictures coming soon!

Last night we were at my sisters house getting ready for a night of munchkin, a new card game my brother got. Trae was having fun trying to torture Jorie, my brothers new baby. She was in her carseat and he never really got to her, but he sure was trying. He was holding onto the couch and she was by the piano. Jen was sitting on the piano bench when all of a sudden, Trae let go of the couch and walked over to Jen and Jorie! HE WALKED!! It was a wobbly 4 steps! It was awesome!! Then, after I screamed with delight, I turned him and he took 5 steps to me!! woo hoo!! After that I told him he couldn't walk anymore until I got the camera out, so.....

What he lacks in balance...

Last night we went to see my new nieces! It was a lot of fun, however, Winni thought the bathroom was the best part! She took her pants and diaper off because she wanted to go potty, which is great, except she put her clean diaper in a puddle of water. After she went potty, I put her pants on her, without a diaper. Of course, the next thing I know she has a wet spot on the front of her pants, and she wants to go potty again. When I knew she couldn't have anything left to "tinkle" I figured we'd be taking her out of the hospital...naked!! Then I thought, she's pretty small and there are a lot of newborn diapers here, so why not give it a shot? I asked my sister if she thought I could get a newborn diaper to fit on Winni? She asked if I needed tape?? Of course not!! I was desperate, so I layed her on the bed, and what do you know, it fit!!



A little snug, bikini brief type, but we survived the drive home!
