I knew I was forgetting something...

In case you were wondering, 2400 sq ft is like 3 times what 800 sq ft is. And it takes a lot more energy to clean and organize! I go to bed EXHAUSTED every night! However, things are slowly falling into place and well, to be honest, I miss the comments and having you all be a part of my life. I've become rather home sick lately, and I think it's my blog slacking that I have to blame. So, here is a little recap...

After we unloaded this

We bought our house and camped out in it, on the floor, the first night. Luckily, some people from church asked us over for dinner and we bummed an air mattress and some sleeping bags off of them. Then, the next morning...

This showed up

And dumped a lot of this...

Walter's office

'Morning Room'

Kitchen

Family Room

While working in the other room one day, I heard Trae call for help and found this...

YEP! He got himself stuck on the scaffolding that Walter was using to hang the ceiling fans! hahaha so funny! Of course I said, 'wait, let me get a picture' and he posed nicely!

One day while we were out craigslisting for things we needed we had some treats! I had some gum and was going to throw it out the window so I could have some caramels. Well, Walter didn't like that idea, being a tree hugger and all, and asked me to put it in the wrapper and in the garbage. So, I did. Then, when I didn't think he was looking, I picked up a caramel from off the ground that the kids had dropped and threw it out the sunroof. Well, guess what!?!? It didn't exactly disappear. In fact, it came right back to bite me in the butt, er face!

Yeah, he noticed it too!

Basically, I'm not as sly as I think I am. But, I am funnier than I ever gave myself credit for!

The next day, we made a trip to Ikea. That was fun!

Walter and the kids found that we have frogs in our window well. Not just a few, but like 45!

So, Walter climbed down to catch them all, so he could bring them in the house. Great idea, right?

Luckily, after the first day he decided to pick the elite 10 that would reside with us. After a few trips to the pet store to get crickets we found out that 10 frogs (actually we have toads, but that's kind of an ugly word, so I call them frogs) will eat 2 dozen crickets a day. Well, I'm not in the mood to raise crickets too, so we are down to 5 frogs. Slowly, I'm winning this battle. We should be down to no frogs (except for the naturally occurring ones in the window well each summer) by September 1st!

Then, last Thursday, my parents came to town. yeah!! They are great mover inners, so they came to help organize, hang pictures, and distract children! It was great to have them. Although, we didn't get around to organizing the play room, or hanging any pictures! But, we did get other stuff done.

On Saturday, we had our Primary activity. They had some water fun!

I guess I better get used to these kinds of 'Primary Activities' you know, now that I am Primary President! You can just call me Pres from now on, if that makes you feel better! :) I haven't a clue as to what I am doing. But, luckily I snatched up a great 1st (and only) counselor, so this should be fun! Needless to say, my 6 week maternity leave from church won't be happening this go round!

And, today we finally got blinds! woo hoo! I picked up the last of them this morning and Walter installed all of them tonight. It's been quite the ordeal, but we survived! Now that we are all caught up, it seems I've forgotten something else. Walter is telling me that if I love him I'll come to bed now. Apparently having blinds means something totally different to him!

I'm glad I got caught up on your life. I saw Walter at church today and gave him a hug to give to you- so he better give it to you! But FYI- it was definitely a blinds open hug!;)
