Chestertown

Guess what's gonna go here??

OUR HOUSE!!

And, it'll look a little something like this...

I got to go through the same floorplan as ours but in brick, it was fun! It was my first time actually being in the same floorplan as what I am buying! Kinda crazy!!

My kitchen cabinets will look like this...

And my faux granite countertops...

The master bedroom...

Looking up the stairs from the front door. Although, you won't see so much since I will have a laundry room instead of an open entryway. But I'll still have those stairs, and that lovely potty room at the top!

Our "morning room" which is an extension onto the kitchen. It's a little long for a table...maybe it'll be a school room or a craft room or something. Who knows! All I know is that, if I get my way, someday that door to the left will have a deck. And, my kids will come running up that deck, through the house, and up the stairs to their play room, where they will climb onto the slide I plan on placing in the window and go zooming down. Just so they can do it all over again!! :) Safely, of course!

Looking toward the kitchen from the front door. First door, nice little powder room. Second door...closet! Oh, and the princess in the kitchen is my mother. She came with me to Chestertown last weekend to make these decisions and to see my house in real life.

My mom and I had lots of fun! First we took the red eye to NYC on Thursday morning at 12 AM. We survived though, first class aint so bad!! Then we headed to Baltimore where we picked up our rental car and headed to the hotel. Turns out the hotel was OVER an hour away from Chestertown. It was actually in the complete wrong direction when leaving the airport! I knew something wasn't right. So, as we drove around while trying to get a new reservation somewhere closer we realized the brakes on our car weren't working so well. So, on our way to Chestertown to start our appts we stopped off at an Enterprise along the way and picked up a new car. One with brakes! What a novel idea! We were able to make it to our appts on time and finally, at about 430 PM we got something to eat! I.WAS.STARVING!! Then we followed Brooke, the Ryan Homes Salesperson we were working with, out to Delaware to see a Bainbridge model that is almost done and very similar to our home. We decided to stay the night in Delaware. We had plans of sitting in the hot tub, but passed out before I could even think about putting a swimsuit on! Oh, and Fairfield Inns don't have hot tubs. The highlight of the night was before I passed out. As we checked in they had some warm chocolate chip cookies, so we had to take one...or two. Well, I was a little concerned that the car lights had been left on, so I headed down to check it out. I was walking past the cookies so I figured I should grab another one. Ya know, act like I hadn't had one yet. After I snatched another cookie I walked around the lobby just checking things out. I said 'hi' to the man I passed as I got on to the elevator and headed back to our room. When I got there my mom asked me how the lobby was. Then she asked me why I went down their with a chocolate chip melted to my lip! oooops! Guess I wasn't as sly as I thought! Good thing I have no shame! The next morning we headed back to MD to our homesite and picked out the goods, like countertops and cabinets. Then we headed to the local hospital to check out the facility. Turns out they deliver an average of 300 babies...A YEAR!! They only have 2 doctors and 4 labor/deliver/recovery rooms. A little different from IMC and my last delivery. When we got home I called and found out that neither dr takes my insurance. So, I just might have to drive the 45 minutes to the next hospital. This should be fun!! I'm getting excited! and sad! We bought our plane tickets and we leave June 1st! It's coming so fast!!!

Does the cute lady w/ the hard hat come w/ the house? I am jealous...i don't have a cute lady w/ a hard hat!

Looks awesome!

I have a friend w/ a layout similar in IN, and a deck looks beautiful on the back. Nice choice!

Sounds great and productive. I am excited for you but grateful for the small print. I'm not anxious for you to be so far away. Your last post sounded like you plan on never being in Utah again (last Utah picture) I hope this isn't for forever.

Yay! You won't have to live in a cave anymore! Congratulations! Is there actually an option to not have a laundry room?!

Unlike Kelly- I don't heart you- I hate you for leaving me. But I will concede that your house looks wonderful!

What a wonderful house and you deserve it! (Even if you are letting Walter take you a way.) I am sure we could find just as nice of a house here in Murray. I love you so much and I will definitely miss you.
