Today we got up early to go 'to town' for the parade! We had a nice spot in the middle of the street! My kids thought it was great to finally be able to play in the street!
We had a relaxing day of eating BBQ and playing with matchbox cars on our racetrack we brought along. I think it entertained the big boys longer than it did the little kids!
Tonight we headed to an even BIGGER (Athens) town for the fireworks! We had some time to wait, so we played football...
and we bummed some homemade ice cream off of the people next to us! It pays to have cute kids! Glad I went with that route, as opposed to choosing the alternative! :)
