Gone Fishing!!

We decided that the best thing to do with our lake, and our little boats, would be to drive our little boats on the lake. Only one problem...they don't turn! They just go forward and backward. So we got the kids some cheap little fishing poles so they could steer their boats with their new poles. These cute backpacks came with a little pole, tackle box, a sinker, and sun glasses. They loved them! Although, Winni and Trae have started noticing that we buy things in 2's, not 3's. Grady is getting more possessive and independent, so I guess it's time we start buying more! So, this morning we headed out to 'our lake' to get in some fishing!

It was a little too choppy for our little boats! hahaha It looks like glass to me, but there was a little tiny current that made it hard for the boats to go, so we pulled them out and taught the kids how to cast their lines out. Winni was doing great! She would cast it out pretty far and bring it back in, with her little princess sinker still on! Everytime she would exclaim that she had caught a princess crown! hahaha Trae had a fish sinker on the end of his, but he was having a hard time getting it to go much farther than the dock in front of him. It was very fun and we loved the morning together!

After a little nap, we headed to 'Mormon Night at the Ballpark!' I guess once a year all of us BaltimorMons head to Camden Yards to enjoy a night of overpriced hot dogs and turning down the beer guy! It was fun!

Before we went UP to our seats, you can see the view from our seats...they were a little up there...couldn't get much higher, we found this bounce house and playground! The kids had fun running off some energy. They actually sat still for the first little bit of the game. They were so excited to be at a baseball game! Tonight they were giving out free hats as part of a Miller Light promotion. So, we let our kids go around in Miller Light hats...we are such good parents!

They loved cheering on the Orioles!

Oh, and we felt so 'at home' once we realized what street we were on...

yeah for Friday's off!! :)
